Berlin (DE) – 2020
The SPREEHALLE Berlin opened its first season with the transmedia concert series ELEKTROPOLIS in the historic AEG factory in Berlin. As part of this concert series, renowned musicians from the fields of electronic music, jazz and contemporary experimental music performed with the TRANSFORMATOR spatial sound instrument developed by us. We curated the scenographic experience from a listening perspective and supervised the artists. We transformed the challenges of the pandemic into an artistic concept. With the help of our MNTN Spatial Sound System for live spatial mixes, some of the guests were able to follow the performance in the interior in the highest concentration, while the guests outside the venue were able to experience the sound spectacle in a different perceptual context via outdoor loudspeakers: during cozy conversations with a glass of wine around the campfire.
